Nestled on the banks of the Vaal River, Goose Bay Canyon offers professional, personal service in a beautiful relaxed atmosphere.

Situated just 1 hour from Johannesburg, this upmarket venue boasts state of the art conference facilities, a beautiful glass fronted function venue and lapa / pool area, overlooking the river and canyon. 16 fully air conditioned twin en-suite rooms are available, all with panoramic views of the river and canyon.

Whether for a conference, company function or wedding you will be warmly welcomed into the Goose Bay family.

CONFERENCE clients will feel totally comfortable getting down to business in our well equipped conference centre with all the necessary equipment provided.

The cosy pub off to the side with a lovely log fire and pool table is the ideal place to relax after a successful day of business. Alternatively a river sunset cruise, followed by a traditional braai on the banks of the river.

WEDDING receptions of up to 100 guests are hosted in the main venue with the ceremony either in a draped chapel area on the banks of the river or in the stone chapel at Heaven on Vaal. Catering is totally flexible and designed around the preference of our couples. All the wedding guests can be accommodated either at Goose Bay or within walking distance from us.

FUNCTIONS whether company or personal are ensured of total exclusivity. Your own venue, pub and river front with no outside interference. The options on theme, catering and décor are endless.

Bed & Breakfast Accommodation

All of our 19 rooms are en-suite, with a king bed and balcony overlooking the Vaal River. Full English breakfast.

Conference Centre

Air conditioneded, under floor heating, big screen TV, proxima, DVD, CD player, video, flipcharts and white board.

Day Conference

Maximum of 50 delegates.

Day package per 9 hour period consist of:
Full on Conference Centre including Bottled water, pens and note pads per delegate.
Usage of all equipment is inclusive.

Day package includes:
2x Refreshments, 1 Light lunch

Full Board Conference Maximum of 32 delegates.

Includes accommodation, catering and hiring of facility for a 24 hour period.
1x Breakfast, 1x Light lunch, 2x Tea times, 1x Dinner

All our river view rooms are comfortable luxury en suite bedrooms, airconditioned and telephones.
